MORTON today made former Falkirk defender Peter Grant their latest signing.

Grant penned a one-year contract this morning that runs until 10 June 2020.

As well as starring for the Bairns, the 25-year-old started his career at Peterborough United and has enjoyed spells at Carlisle United and Plymouth Argyle.

He joined up with his new Ton team-mates this morning for training as David Hopkin’s side prepare for their pre-season friendly against St Johnstone at Cappielow.

Grant, son of the former Celtic and Scotland midfielder, scored for Falkirk in the Scottish Cup final against Inverness in 2015.
