THE annual fete at Grosvenor Bowling Club got the thumbs up from members and visitors alike.
There was a good turnout at the get-together at the busy club in Greenock's Dempster Street.
People had a go at putting and bowling to win a cash prize, while there was also a car wash.
Lots of stalls were set up selling the likes of tasty home baking.
Andrew McLelland, social convener, said: "The fete was very well attended.
"It's grown over the years and we had lots of stalls from local independent businesses."
Andrew says the fete promotes the club and shows people the facilities on offer.
He said: "It's a good way for people to come in to try bowls and get a tour of the club.
"It helps to attract new members."
All funds raised from the fete will go towards the running of the club and this year's kids Halloween and Christmas parties.
Andrew said: "It is a warm inviting club, we have regular dances and social events.
"I would like to thank members for helping to organise the event and to everyone for coming along and making the day such a success."
