OAK Tree Housing Association has launched a search for new recruits to sit on its management committee.
The association's annual general meeting will be held in the Tontine Hotel on Tuesday August 13 at 7pm and management are keen to bring new faces into the organisation.
Members who attend the AGM will get the chance to have their say as a question and answer session will also be held.
Chairman Colin Campbell said: "We are looking for individuals who are committed to our drive to support the local communities we engage with and the needs of our tenants, through the provision and development of high quality housing and related services, and to assist in delivering on the strategic housing objectives for Inverclyde."
“We are particularly keen to hear from tenants with relevant local knowledge and experience, who feel they have a contribution to make to the work of the association.
"In return, our management committee members have the satisfaction of contributing to improving the lives of local people, as well as the opportunity to work in what is a stimulating and supportive environment that can help develop their knowledge and personal skills.
“We look forward to welcoming members and guests to our AGM this August, when they will hear about our activities over the past year."
Oak Tree’s reactive repairs, planned maintenance, finance and housing services teams, will be holding a 'Live Hub' prior to the AGM, from 6pm, to answer queries.
Refreshments and sandwiches, light refreshments, tea, coffee and biscuits will be available on the night.
Once the AGM business has been concluded, the Q&A will give members the opportunity to put questions to the management committee and senior staff.
Voting by proxy is also permitted for members unable to attend.
Those wishing to appoint a proxy must notify Oak Tree Housing Association in advance, by completing the special form they will receive and returning it by August 8
