INVERCLYDE'S MSP has welcomed a government cash boost of £294,000 so that free school meals can be provided during the summer holiday.
The investment is on top of a further £268,000 for wider food support.
Stuart McMillan said: "This extra support will make a huge difference to children and their families in Inverclyde, and help to ensure the most vulnerable people in our society receive support during this pandemic.”
