MORTON have teamed up with a pair of passionate personal trainers to get people moving during lockdown.
The club's community trust has launched 'Get Moving with Morton' - 12 weeks of free, online fitness classes for local adults.
Jonny Roy of Morton in the Community signed up trainers Gary Pettigrew and Tiffany Brown after he and his colleague Brian McLaughlin had taken part in their exercise sessions.
The Kilmacolm couple were delighted to be asked and will be leading classes suitable for people of all fitness levels.
Former Port Juniors player Gary, who has been a PT for eight years and will be leading the men's class, said: "Sadly during the lockdowns I've been unable to hold any of my usual one-to-one sessions, so I took my classes online.
"They've been really successful and have helped lots of people stay motivated.
"I'm excited to start with new people who have signed up with Morton in the Community.
"Brian and Jonny both have taken part in my classes, so I was delighted when they asked if I wanted to get on board with this new idea.
"It's important to keep people active and motivated and I'm looking forward to seeing all the guys progress over the 12 weeks."
Tiffany, 25, who is also a marine engineer at Faslane, has only recently started taking her own classes and runs an online 'booty camp'.
She told the Tele: "I've always been passionate about fitness.
"I've had up to 70 people online for some of my classes, so it will be good to hopefully see new faces through Get Moving with Morton.
"It's something different and will hopefully keep people of all fitness levels motivated.
"It's amazing that it is free, as means it is accessible to everyone."
The classes have been funded by Inverclyde health and social care partnership, meaning there is no cost to those who take part.
Jonny said: "We really hope to get as many people on board as possible and know that having Gary and Tiffany leading the classes will make such a difference.
"As well as the classes themselves, I'll be sending out information about healthy eating too and there will be a Whatsapp group to offer support.
"We've had a good response so far from people of all ages, so we're looking forward to getting started now."
