A MAN was allegedly found in possession of a knife and illegal drugs at an address in Greenock's east end.
He was arrested at 1am on Saturday following reports of a disturbance on Grosvenor Road.
Officers say the 31-year-old was searched and found to be in possession of the items.
Area commander Chief Inspector Paul Cameron said: "The removal of offensive weapons makes Inverclyde safer.
"If you intend to carry such weapons, you will be caught and arrested."
