EUROPE'S elite footgolf stars will return to Greenock this year after the town was chosen to host the next Scottish Open tournament for the second year in a row.
The international competition will be held at Greenock Golf Club following the success of last year's event which saw nearly 100 players from across Britain taking to the fairways.
The memorable weekend last August saw Scotland take on a Rest of the World select at the Forsyth Street venue before the 36-hole singles open competition was played the next day.
Greenock star Michael Eardley celebrated a silver finish on his home course after coming second in the pairs competition.
This year promises to be just as exciting, with the Footgolf Association of Scotland confirming all 120 slots to compete in the tournament were snapped up this week.

The 2020 Scottish Open champion Fraser Weir will be aiming to defend his title.
There are some top names aiming to take his crown, with 2018 French World Cup winner Geoffrey Domenech and Czech Republic ace Josef Nemec signed up for this year's tournament.
The competition takes place on July 25. For more information visit www.facebook.com/FootGolf-Association-of-Scotland
