LINE OF DUTY MAIN CAST INCLUDING MARTIN COMPSTON AS DS STEVE ARNOTT
GREENOCK actor Martin Compston is set to return to TV screens as the new series of Line of Duty approaches.
It's been revealed that the new run will have an extra episode when it airs.
Filming of the sixth series of the hit police drama began last year, however it had to be paused because of disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The new series will see Martin's character DS Steve Arnott and his anti-corruption unit AC-12 colleagues take on a new case regarding a senior officer in an unsolved murder case.
Line Of Duty began on the BBC in 2012 and has become a smash hit watched by millions.
