Greenock police station
POLICE are investigating a break-in bid at the Lyle Kirk on Union Street.
The former Ardgowan Parish Church building was targeted last Friday.
The church's Newark Street building was also targeted earlier in the same week.
Meanwhile officers are probing a break-in at St John’s Episcopal Church in Union Street last weekend.
Anyone who has spotted suspicious activity surrounding any of the churches is asked to call 101 and report it.
