THE B&Q store in Port Glasgow Retail Park has been raided overnight with a 'large quantity' of power tools stolen.
Police have launched an investigation after the break-in at the Russell Way premises.
The haul of stolen goods is worth a four-figure sum.
Officers say they now want to hear from anyone offered power tools for sale.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "The premises have been subject of a break-in overnight where a large quantity of power tools have been stolen.
"Officers are asking for assistance for information regarding this incident."
If members of the public are offered power tools for sale, they are asked to contact 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident 3320 of February 4.
