INVERCLYDE is set to receive more than £80,000 to help tackle the area's drugs problem.
The Scottish Government has announced funding of £3m to NHS boards to increase residential drug rehabilitation placements and improve access to treatment and harm reduction services.
Inverclyde HSCP will be handed £81,407.
MP Ronnie Cowan said: "I am sure it will be spent wisely by the healthcare professionals.
“It’s good to see in these difficult times, when healthcare is dominated by the coronavirus, that addiction services are still being recognised for the magnificent work they do."
