A GOUROCK church has helped donate £2,000 to a local welfare charity.
Old Gourock & Ashton Parish donated £700 during the advent season, with contributions also made by individual parishioners.
There was also a £1,000 donation from the Little Rascals toddlers group, started by church elder Jeni Tweed.
Charity chairman Pat Burke said: "Old Gourock & Ashton Parish Church’s sustained engagement with us is highly valued and of enormous therapeutic benefit to families who live in rather bleak environments."
