PEOPLE are being urged to have their say on the council's equality agenda.
They have launched a survey looking for feedback on areas that residents would like to see pursued.
Councillor Jim Clocherty said: “The council, in its capacity as an education authority, needs to develop a new set of equality outcomes focused on education provision.
“Some possible themes that could be covered include improving the educational attainment of black and minority ethnic pupils in Inverclyde or taking action to reduce incidents of identity-based bullying and harassment in our educational establishments.
"We really want people in the local community to tell us what they see are the important equality issues.”
The survey is online at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/MK8HWMR until Sunday.
