AN ARMED robbery accused man has been charged with holding up a Greenock convenience store at knifepoint and stealing the shop's till.
Christopher Graham, 37, is said to have brandished a blade at a staff member whilst making threats of violence towards him during the alleged incident at the U-Save premises on Roxburgh Street.
Prosecutors say that Graham had his face 'partially concealed' as he grabbed the till on September 17 last year.
He was on a bail undertaking to appear at the sheriff court on another matter at the time, according to an indictment that has been served on him.
Graham — who is currently remanded in custody — has pleaded not guilty through lawyer Gerry Keenan.
The case is due to call again later this month. (Feb 23)
