POLICE ALERT
POLICE have issued an alert over a spate of thefts in Port Glasgow.
Officers are investigating a number of reports of thefts in the town and they are urging people to be on their guard.
A spokesperson said: "Please take some steps to prevent you becoming a victim of crime.
"Lock doors & windows, remove valuables from your car and keep keys safe.
"Report anything suspicious to police on 101 Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
