Greenock Sheriff Court.
A GREENOCK man has been charged with assaulting another male by throwing a chair at him.
Russell Hunter, 37, is also said to have tried to punch the man during an alleged disturbance at a property on Gilmour Street last August.
Hunter, of Dempster Street, has maintained a plea of not guilty at the sheriff court through lawyer Aidan Gallagher.
A trial is due to take place on March 10.
