MORTON'S away game tomorrow against Inverness Caley will not go ahead due to a frozen pitch.
The Highlanders' park has failed a pitch inspection which was held this afternoon.
The check was ordered after temperatures plummeted during the cold snap.
The game had been in doubt all week, particularly after Caley's midweek fixture was called off.
Anton McElhone and his men had been hoping to travel north and get back on track after losing three of their last four matches.
A new date for the rearranged game is still to be announced, with Caley facing a huge backlog of fixtures.
