WORK on a new £1.7 million children's home in Port Glasgow has still to restart as delays continue.
The site at Crosshill has remained closed down since February last year, when the main contractors went into administration.
In a recent update councillors were told that tenders should be returned this month and a revised programme will then be put in place to finish the project.
Young people are continuing to stay in the former Neil Street children's unit until the new build is ready.
