JURY trial cases due to call at Greenock Sheriff Court today include an armed robbery indictment and an alleged assault to severe injury by a son on his father.
Michael Glancy, 35, is accused of robbing a taxi driver of a car key and an electronic device in Port Glasgow's Oronsay Avenue whilst allegedly armed with a knife.
Charley Malone, 27, is said by prosecutors to have repeatedly stamped on his dad and kicked him during an alleged serious assault at a flat on Greenock's Togo Place.
Jamie Murphy, 19, is charged with knifing his ex-partner by striking her on the body with a blade and also with compressing the woman's throat with his hands.
Darren Williams, 19, is accused of unlawful possession of a screwdriver, making threats and also of riding a bike carelessly on Greenock's Roxburgh Street.
All accused maintained pleas of not guilty at previous callings of their cases, which are all due to call from today.
