A GREENOCK man charged with leaving a foul-mouthed voicemail message on his pregnant ex-partner's mobile phone has had his sheriff court trial postponed.

Joseph Spence, 46, is accused of repeatedly swearing and uttering derogatory and sexualised remarks.

He had been due to have the case heard next month but it has had to be adjourned until June, for procedural reasons.

Spence, of Corlic Street, had not guilty pleas maintained in his absence from the latest calling of the case by lawyer Aidan Gallagher.
