SEVEN Covid rule-breakers have been issued with fixed penalty fines for holding a house party at an address in Greenock's east end on Valentine's Day.
Police attended the property on Kilmacolm Road shortly after midnight and dispersed the illegal gathering.
Chief Inspector Paul Cameron said: "The Covid regulations are in place to protect all of us during this stage of the pandemic.
"I would appeal to anyone living in Inverclyde contemplating holding a house party to think again.
"When you are caught you will be breaking the law."
