TWO Inverclyde bands are gearing up to raise money for lifeline organisations in an online gig this weekend.

Black Dove and Strange Dimensions will appear on the B12 Entertainment Facebook page on Saturday.

The pre-recorded gig will generate cash for Man On Inverclyde and Inverclyde Women's Aid.

Four-piece Greenock act Strange Dimensions comprise cousins Paul Leslie and Liam Docherty, and siblings Anna and John Jack.

Indie rockers Black Dove have sold out King Tut's in Glasgow and played at Party at the Palace.

B12 Entertainment director Gareth Gonet said: "I've had to get creative throughout the pandemic to provide opportunities for bands and to continue to bring live music to the public.

"I urge everyone to tune in to enjoy music from two of Inverclyde's most exciting young bands and help us raise some money for two fantastic local organisations."

Viewers will be able to donate before, during and after the event.

Tunes will begin at 8pm on the B12 Facebook page and the gig will last for around one hour.
