A CHILDREN'S charity has stepped into help frontline health workers support the most vulnerable families.
Children In Poverty Inverclyde is using regular cash gifts from kind-hearted local people to fund donations to those in the greatest need.
They recently handed over winter coats and clothes to the health visitors team, based at Greenock Health Centre.
Charity trustee George Wall said: "We really rely on local people who donate regularly and allow us to keep donating to the vulnerable families."
HSCP worker Lesley Keith was on hand to thank Children in Poverty Inverclyde for the donation.
The health visiting team support families across Inverclyde.
Founder Pat also thanked regular donors who wish to remain anonymous along with the likes of the Old Gourock and Ashton, the Regent Club and and the Boys Brigade for their continued support.
