A MAN broke in to a Greenock pub/restaurant and stole alcohol-free beer, it is alleged.
Alan McLean, 36, is said to have carried out the alleged raid at the Tail O' The Bank on Rue End Street on November 11.
McLean, of Weir Street, is also charged with unlawful possession of the drugs codeine, etizolam and buprenorphine.
Pleas of not guilty were maintained in his absence from the sheriff court by lawyer Gerry Keenan and a trial is due next month.
