A DRUG dealing accused man has appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court in connection with the alleged seizure of thousands of pounds worth of street valium.
Peter Berry, 48, is charged with being concerned in the supply of the class C drug — as well as cannabis possession — at his home.
The Tele told last month how police swooped on the property at Redpoll Place.
At the time, police said that 170,000 etizolam pills with an estimated street value of £90,000 were allegedly recovered during the 6am raid on January 20.
Berry appeared in the dock on an undertaking for a private hearing on petition.
The charges against him allege that he was concerned in the supply of etizolam and had possession of cannabis at his home on January 20.
He made no plea through lawyer Aidan Gallagher and the case was continued for further examination by Sheriff Andrew McIntyre.
Berry was allowed bail, with a date for the next calling of the case to be confirmed.
