Esplanade Greenock fencw damaged during landscaping.
WALKERS are asked to be aware of a broken section of fencing on the Esplanade.
The section halfway along was accidentally damaged by the contractor carrying out work for the new cycle path.
An excavator struck the fence and Inverclyde Council says repairs will be carried out this week.
The area has meantime been made safe, however those passing are asked to avoid going near the broken barrier.
