GOUROCK Post Office was forced to close unexpectedly.
Customers turned up at the Kempock Street branch to find the shutters down and the doors locked.
It shut on Wednesday afternoon, but is expected to reopen today.
A Post Office spokeswoman said: “Gourock Post Office has been temporarily closed since Wednesday lunchtime due to staffing issues. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
