A NEW roadshow is taking the fight against cancer into supermarkets in Inverclyde.
Cancer Research UK teamed up with Tesco Greenock to set up a stall so customers and staff could find out more about reducing the risks of the disease.
Nurse Christine Campbell was on hand to talk to people about smoking, obesity and other factors that increase the chances of cancer.
She said: "This is a good way of reaching people and talking to them about it. We always get a good response. It is good to come right in to the heart of community.
"It has been a difficult year for everyone but this is a good way of reaching people."
The cancer awareness nurse was joined by fellow nurse Darragh Casey and logistics manager Carl Taylor.
Cancer Research UK, one of the charities Tesco supports, is planning to return to Greenock on July 6, August 24, October 5 and November 23.
