Greenock Sheriff Court
A GREENOCK man and woman have been charged with threatening to torch a flat and pouring liquid through a letterbox.
Alan Sharp, 44, and Jillian Sharp, 40, are also accused of repeatedly striking the front door of the property on Regent Street with a hammer or similar instrument.
Jillian Sharp, of Charles Place, is further charged with unlawful possession of a knife.
She and her co-accused, of Lynedoch Street, are said to have committed the alleged offences in December 2019.
They have pleaded not guilty through lawyers Aidan Gallagher and Gerry Keenan.
The indictment case is due to call again in October.
