DETECTIVES are hunting a blade-wielding thug who attacked a man from behind on a Greenock street.
The 40-year-old victim of the serious assault is in hospital with cuts to his back, head and shoulder.
He was attacked at around 8.40pm on Monday at Brachelston Street, near Prospecthill Street.
Information should be passed to CID on the 101 number.
