A FORMER church in Port Glasgow is set to be transformed into a large family home.
Council officials have approved a planning application for the former St Martin's Church and Hall in Mansion Avenue to be converted into a house.
When it put the property on the market last year the Church of Scotland was looking for offers over £150,000.
Rebecchi Architectural Services subsequently submitted drawings to planners which showed a blueprint for three bedrooms, dining and sitting areas, a large games area and an office.
The church closed down after 60 years back in 2019, due to a dwindling congregation, partly caused by the demolition of homes in Woodhall.
