A GREENOCK woman charged with assaulting her Portuguese boyfriend and placing his mum and sister in a state of fear and alarm after allegedly brandishing a blade has had her trial postponed at the sheriff court due to a lack of an interpreter.
Melissa Fyfe, 26, is also accused of damaging a TV and a door within her Maple Road home and repeatedly shouting.
Prosecutors say she struck her partner on the head to injury.
She has maintained pleas of not guilty through lawyer Gerry Keenan.
The case is due to call in court again in September.
