COUNCILLOR Tommy McVey is urging constituents to report any roads in his ward that need repaired.
A number of routes have been resurfaced but Mr McVey is keen to push for more.
He said: "I fully accept that there is always more to do when it comes to roads, which is why the council has committed to spend £6.3m between 2021 and 2024."
Mr McVey says Auchneagh Road, Larkfield Grove, Maple Road and Rose Street are all being attended to this year.
He added: "I am also hopeful that Thom Street and the pavement outside St Margaret’s Court, on Grieve Road, will be upgraded as well however I do not have a date for these works as yet.
"This is an ongoing process and I would ask that residents report any roads defects via roads@inverclyde.gov.uk or by calling the contact centre on 01475 717171."
