A GREENOCK man aged 64 has been charged with knifing someone to severe injury and permanent disfigurement in an alleged street attack.
Henry Kerr is said to have struck another man on the body with a blade on the town's South Street.
Kerr, of Inverkip Street, pleaded not guilty to the indictment charge through lawyer Aidan Gallagher at the sheriff court.
Prosecutors say Kerr committed the alleged serious assault on June 15 last year.
The case is due to go to trial before a jury in November.
