WEST College Scotland's award winning Skills Academy is back for another year and recruiting more students.
The Greenock campus continues to collaborate with Renfrewshire construction firm AC Whyte & Co to find a workforce for the future.
College lecturers have created a unique skills training academy solely to address the specific skills shortage highlighted by the firm.
Since linking up they've created places for around 50 students, with many going on to secure jobs with the firm at the end of the course.
Paul Lynn, head of sector for construction and building services, said: “It is fantastic to see the college enter into another year of partnership with AC Whyte again, delivering more positive outcomes for both education and industry.”
AC Whyte managing director Jennifer Phin added: "Together our aim is to deliver local training and local jobs, with a view to delivering local decarbonisation and housing strategy requirements in partnership with our clients."
