THE number of coronavirus cases in Inverclyde continues to decline as the recent surge tails off.
Over the period September 13-19, a total of 442 people in the district tested positive for Covid-19.
This gives an infection rate per 100,000 people of 573.
Inverclyde is seventh out of all 32 local authority cases on that measure.
The Scottish average is 475 per 100k.
