INVERCLYDE has recorded a grim milestone after its coronavirus death toll for this year reached the 100 mark.
National Records of Scotland say that two deaths as a result of Covid-19 were registered between October 11-17, taking the total to 100.
Since the pandemic arrived here last spring it has claimed the lives of 232 local people.
