RESIDENTS and staff at Newark Care Home have received their Covid-19 booster vaccine.
Inverclyde's Health and Social Care Partnership ensured that everyone at the Port care home received their third dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
Eileen Welch, home manager, said: "Our residents and staff have welcomed the booster vaccine, and we are grateful to support received from Inverclyde Council and the HSCP in the smooth transition of carrying out the vaccinations at the home.
"We are committed to doing everything we can to keep our residents as safe as we can.”
The HSCP has been handling the rollout of the booster vaccines, with care home residents and staff as well as people who are housebound being top of the priority list.
