Man attacked on street in broad daylight
A MAN was rushed to hospital this afternoon after being injured in a daytime attack.
The man in his 40s was attacked near to Thom Street in Greenock and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident happened at around 2.30pm.
A police spokesperson said: “A man in his late 40s suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
“We are following a positive line of enquiry.
