A TOTAL of 346 people in Inverclyde tested positive for coronavirus during the week between December 5-11.
This means the infection rate per 100,000 people stood at 449, with the district's figure placed 16th out of the country's 32 local authorities.
Across Scotland, the average was 453 cases per 100k people.
