A FESTIVE gathering brewed up hundreds of pounds for charity and church funds.
Lyle Kirk held a coffee morning and Christmas sale which was a great success.
Reverend Jonathan Fleming said the event was very busy, with the hall full of people and Christmas cheer from start to finish.
Mr Fleming said: "It went incredibly well and we raised £550 for Church funds. We are delighted that both the Beatson and a selection of Palestinian Charities also raised funds on the day.
"There was a lovely atmosphere, it was great to see the place full."
"Everyone enjoyed plenty of teas and coffees and homebaking! We also had a few stalls selling items, including cards and gifts in aid of Save the Children, items from Palestine and a variety of beautiful, handmade, knitted gifts.”
