WEST Scotland MSP Ross Greer has urged schools bosses in Inverclyde to apply for a share of up to £5 million to help improve ventilation in classrooms.
The Scottish Government has made money available following concerns about windows being left open during the winter.
Mr Greer said: "Teachers and support staff contact me every day with concerns about the risk of Omicron in their classrooms.
"A number of classrooms clearly require additional measures to be put in place, which is exactly why we pushed for this money to be made available."
