INVERCLYDE has the lowest house prices in Scotland according to latest figures.
The UK House Price Index, published by the Registers of Scotland, shows that the average pricetag here in October was £119,449.
This compares with £182,755 nationally.
The highest-priced area to purchase a property was Edinburgh, with an average of £319,160.
Prices locally have increased by 16 per cent since 2020, when the average was £102,626.
