York and Scarborough NHS Foundation Trust hospital facing pressures due to covid-19 pandemic
A TOTAL of 346 people in Inverclyde tested positive for coronavirus in the week to Sunday.
This puts the district's Covid case rate per 100,000 people at 449, which is slightly below the Scottish average of 479 as the wave of Omicron variant cases rapidly subsides.
Seventeen of the country's 32 local authority areas currently have higher case levels than Inverclyde.
