INVERCLYDE MP Ronnie Cowan is meeting a UK Government minister as he continues his fight to keep Post Office services and free access to cash in Inverclyde.
The meeting is in response to a letter he sent to Paul Scully, minister for small businesses, consumers and labour markets.
Mr Cowan said: “The issue of the future of post offices in Inverclyde, alongside bank closures and access to cash, are important ones which I’ve been raising with all relevant authorities for some time.
"The UK Government needs to ensure they provide the necessary funding to keep these services in our local communities."
