OVER 300 people have tested positive for coronavirus in a week in Inverclyde.
A total of 313 positive cases were recorded between January 30 and February 5.
This means the area's rate per 100,000 people stands at 406.
The Scottish average is 443 per 100k.
Inverclyde has the 12th highest rate out of all 32 local authority areas in the country.
