A CHILDREN’S support service in Greenock has received a glowing report from inspectors.
Barnardo’s Thrive was graded very good across all key areas by the Care Inspectorate, including staffing, leadership and people’s well-being.
The Terrace Road site is split into two parts – a community respite service for children aged five to 18 with additional support needs and a family support service for kids aged up to five who have been diagnosed with or are awaiting diagnosis of a disability or suffer from a life-limiting condition.
The inspection report praised how well the service responded and adapted to children’s needs and the leadership team were complimented for setting high standards and having good insight into what improvements were required.
Both services are funded by Inverclyde’s Health & Social Care Partnership.
