PEOPLE across Inverclyde struggling to pay fuel bills are receiving extra help thanks to a new partnership.

River Clyde Homes has joined forces with the Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) to help customers at risk of fuel poverty.

Siobhan Sneddon of RCH said: "Through this initiative, customers can receive support and advice to help reduce costs and identify any funding sources and discounts that might be available to them."

Jim Percival, HEAT project leader, added said: "Our service seeks to ensure that every customer we assist is able to have a level of comfort in their home at an affordable cost.

"With the forthcoming energy price increases, there has never been a more important time for households to be able to manage their energy usage."
