THE final countdown is on to the return of the Greenock Comic Con this weekend.
It takes place in the Oak Mall shopping centre on Saturday, with traders, cosplayers, workshops, props, gaming and much more.
Organisers say this will be a far bigger event than previous ones held in the town and they hope to make it an annual fixture for Greenock.
Event organiser, Ian Bonar, of BGCP Comic Con, said: “Our market at Greenock is one of our most popular so I’ve been planning to bring our bigger event here for a while and the timing was right for it.
"We’re looking to pack out the Oak Mall while giving the people of Greenock a fun day out while being very affordable."
Tickets for Saturday are free but must be ordered online via www.bigglasgowcomicpage.com
