MSP Jamie Greene says businesses will need to be compensated for the drastic cut to local rail services.
The Conservative has criticised the First Minister for declining to say whether the government would intervene to offer financial support to those worst affected by the lack of trains.
Mr Greene also hit out at the lack of clarity on when normal services will be resumed.
He added: “We still have no guarantee about when these cancellations will end, which is nothing but a massive headache for passengers and businesses."
